Paths and workshops for children

The Casa Vecia farmhouse is also active as an educational farm, developing courses for primary school children in order to stimulate them and bring them closer to the rural world. An idea born to allow children to come into direct contact with nature, crops and animals on the farm through a path that will allow them to experience activities and experiences linked to the peasant tradition firsthand.
In this regard, some learning paths and an area dedicated to laboratory activities have been organized in which children can work with their own hands the products of the farm.
Experiences
Educational Farm
- FROM GRAPES TO WINE (only in the first ten days of September).
The children are accompanied to the vineyard for the harvest and then, once they return to the company, they are taught to transform grapes into wine. - FROM FRUIT TO JAM (from the end of May to October)
Together with the farm’s cook, the fruit will be transformed into jam and then prepared for tasty tarts.
Meetings and ceremonies
Meeting room
The Casa Vecia farmhouse is a perfect location not only for holidays but also for meetings and workshops. In the barn on the first floor, a meeting room has been created with a capacity of up to 60-70 seats. It can also be used for important ceremonies such as weddings, confirmations and communions, dinners and business refreshments.

The educational farm of the Casa Vecia farmhouse educates and trains children to get in touch with the countryside, with the life of animals and to learn about the origin of the agricultural products that they find on the table every day.
